Raise your voice and be heard at 2019 Teen Town Hall. Concerned members of the community are encouraging teenagers to spend the evening at the 2nd Avenue Center sharing their opinions, connecting with peers and proposing solutions on issues important to youth. The Teen Town Hall offers a open forum for meaningful dialog across community sectors. Charleston’s mayor, Amy Shuler Goodwin, will be listening to hear what teens think is needed to make Charleston a better place for youth.
The event will feature food as well as guest speakers Turan Rush and Iron Ruckus. Youth throughout Charleston neighborhoods are encouraged to attend this gathering. Teens, this is your chance to create change in the Charleston area.
The Teen Town Hall is open to the public. Teachers, counselors, government officials, parents, and students are encouraged to attend. Share your views and make a difference!
