The West Virginia Food and Farm Coalition will host a Local Food & Farm Day at the State Capitol on Friday, Feb 1st, from 8:15 to 11 a.m. Below is a map, which explains where Food and Farm Day events will be held.

The agenda for the day is as follows:

8:00 – 8:30   Arrive in House Rotunda.
                    Check-in and organize into teams.
                    Eat Breakfast compliments of Vagabond Chef and First Hand Coffee Co op
8:30 – 11:00 Meetings with Legislators

Parking Situation:

  • Metered parking (25 cents/half hour 2 hour maximum time limit)
  • Laidley Field on Elizabeth Street. There is a shuttle provided by state to the Capitol
  • Street Parking
    • Quarrier, Virginia or Lee St on west side of Capitol
    • Washington St on east side of Capitol
Legislative Meetings Information

Advocacy teams will be assigned during check-in.  Teams will be provided instructions and informational packets on the legislative asks and who needs to be spoken with.
